The orchids you can't find in the supermarket

Established in 2006, we are a small business based in the Pacific Northwest whose goal is to provide the highest quality orchid plants at the best possible price. Just because you love orchids doesn’t mean you have to spend tons of money on them. We specialize in species, compact and miniature orchids, seedlings, and pre-blooming size plants.

Special Sales: The adult "rescue orchids" are almost gone, and we won't have any more until the weather is warm enough to keep phals outside. However, we are now offering a free "companion plant" with any order of $25 or more. These are plants that are similar in culture to orchids, meaning that you can go away for several weeks, leave them unattended, and find them still alive and well when you return. Companion pants may include succulents, cacti, tilandsias, and anything else that's drought-tolerant. They may be cuttings, seedlings, or bare-root plants. We'll choose whatever looks best and is most plentiful at the time of shipping. If you want a companion plant, you need to order it. It will not be included automatically.

Mount Baker Orchid Show and Sale: We will be a vendor at the Mount Baker Orchid Show, which takes place on Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1 at Skagit Valley Gardens Nursery, 18923 Peter Johnson Road, Mount Vernon, WA  98273 (Phone: 360-424-6760). Hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days. If you're in that part of the world, come and say hello and check out the orchid show.

Updating Our Listings:
Now that it's February we are potting out new species and varieties, which we will continue to list as they become available. Keep checking back for new items.

About Winter Shipping:
It's spring in the Pacific Northwest, but still winter in much of the country. We will continue winter shipping policies as long as necessary. We always check the 10-day forecast for our area, your area, and possible transfer points in between before shipping. If the predicted lows at any of these locations are below 26 degrees F, or if there is predicted snowfall that could interferenwith traffic, we delay shipment until the weather warms up enough to be safe for shipping with a heat pack. We include a 72-hour heat pack with every order. If there is a weather-related delay in shipping your order, we will notify you.

A word about our listings and shipping: Because we are growers, not resellers of mature plants, we typically have a limited number of plants of a given species or cross at any given time, and plants are in a variety of sizes. We try to keep the catalog up-to-date, but sometimes an item will sell out before we can remove it from the catalog. If that happens, we will notify you with an option to substitute or receive a refund. We usually have quite a few items that are not yet listed in the catalog, so if you're looking for something in particular, just let us know. Shipping is usually on Mondays or Tuesdays to arrive before the weekend, or on Fridays or Saturdays to arrive on Monday.

Ordering and payment options: In addition to the online store, we accept phone orders (206-229-7919) and process US credit or debit cards by mail, e-mail, or phone. You can also contact us to make arrangements to pay by check.
